Kavitha: Why Will I Keep KCR’s Picture?

Telangana Jagruthi president Kavitha is currently under arrest for staging a fast in Khammam. But one remark of hers has become viral. Remember the time Kavitha spoke about KCR being her God.

When in BRS, she would praise father KCR to the skies. But then she was suspended from the party for becoming anti-BRS. Following her suspension, Kavitha’s stance too has changed.

She is now openly anti-KCR too. Though she does not directly attack her father and BRS chief, she has made a target out of her brother KTR. When asked about why Kavitha does not have KCR’s picture in her office, Kavitha was blunt.

She said that KCR belongs to another party and hence she had no reason to keep his picture. Now, this has resulted in strong political buzz. Kavitha made it clear that she wants people to accept her on her terms and not because of KCR.

Coming from an entitled background and after enjoying power because of KCR, Kavitha is now behaving rather arrogantly, say BRS insiders. Sau choohe khake billi Haj ko chali – that’s how one can up sum up Kavitha’s defiance against her father, say Telangana political analysts.

It is common for family members to belong to various political parties. It is also acceptable to want being independent. But disrespecting one’s own father is being seen as sheer arrogance by Telangana citizens.
