Kavitha, Kejriwal Get HC Notices: Delhi Liquor Scam

Kavitha and Kejriwal Delhi liquor case court notice

Here comes the big unexpected twist. After Telangana Jagruthi chief Kavitha celebrated her discharge in the Delhi liquor case by the Rouse Avenue Court, she and the 23 others accused in the case have been issued notices by the Delhi High Court on Monday.

In fact, Kavitha also visited Tirumala to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara and spoke about her innocence. The notices were also issued to ex Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. The CBI filed a petition with the Delhi High Court questioning the decision of Rouse Avenue Court.

The Delhi High Court ordered a stay and will hear the case on next Monday.

Just when everyone thought the Delhi liquor scam was done with, this new development has given rise to buzz in Delhi and Telangana political circles.

Kavitha has been quite vocal about BJP putting her in jail for no reason. Now, she is at the juncture of launching a political party. There is speculation that she might make the announcement on Ugadi which falls on March 19 or anytime later.

Telangana political watchers say Kavitha’s last tweet was about 13 hours ago on T20 cricket match and for now she is silent in the matter.

Probably, Kavitha is busy with her legal cell contemplating her next move. If the case continues, Kavitha will have to start her political journey on wobbly ground. Already many attribute KCR’s fall to Kaleswaram issue and other scams.

Now Kavitha being issued notices has become the talking point in both national and state politics.
