Kavitha’s Surprise Comment Amidst Rumours

Kavitha, president of Telangana Jagruthi, made a surprising statement amid rumours that Jagruthi would contest 20 to 30 seats in the upcoming ZPTC elections.

The former BRS leader denied the speculation. She clarified that Telangana Jagruthi is not a full-fledged political party and is therefore not in a position to contest elections independently.

Kavitha made these remarks at a meeting organised to honour Telangana freedom fighter Muccharla Satyanarayana. However, her next comment drew even more attention in political circles.

She stated that she is open to supporting any political party that approaches her. Kavitha added that leaders of Telangana Jagruthi would campaign alongside her whenever required.

During the same event, she also spoke about the phone tapping case. Kavitha said she does not expect the case to reach a logical conclusion and claimed that victims like her would be denied justice. She alleged that the case was being used as a ploy to issue SIT notices to Harish Rao.

Kavitha also demanded that statues of Telangana freedom fighters be installed at Tank Bund, including a statue of Muccharla Satyanarayana.

Her remarks have since triggered political debate. Some analysts believe Kavitha stepped back from contesting elections after sensing limited space for a new political party in Telangana.

Others feel her statement about supporting any party diluted her ideological position. Political observers argue that such openness reflects a lack of clear political direction.
