In a rather interesting turn of events, Telangana Jagruthi president Kavitha was publicly humiliated by All India Forward Bloc member and the winning candidate of Vaddepalli municipality in Gadwal Jogulamba district.
The celebrations at Jagruthi office came to a sudden halt after the AIFB candidate told a news channel that their party had nothing to do with Kavitha.
AIFB won 8 wards out of 10 wards to win their sole seat. Srinivas, the winning candidate of AIFB said that when he went to take B-form from AIFB, Kavitha put a scarf on him. After that she did not come for campaigning and neither did I talk to her, said Srinivas. This has left Jagruthi members in shock.
As Kavitha was not prepared to contest solo, she claimed her support to AIFB. Hence, today her followers were celebrating the first political win of Kavitha. However, within a few hours, their joy turned into shock ad Srinivas openly disowned Jagruthi and Kavitha.
BRS party insiders say that Kavitha has been taught a good lesson for going against her own family in her aspiration to become a CM. Political analysts point out Kavitha hasn’t released a statement yet. They feel that despite all the drama and melodrama of Kavitha, people of Telangana don’t see her as their future leader, at least for now.
