KCR assures a Safe Hyderabad

Telangana government had decided to install One Lakh CCTVs in the city so as to meet the dream of ‘Safe Hyderabad’. These One Lakh CCTVs will be installed at all the junctions of the City to monitor the security issues as well as Traffic violations. The government will very soon invite the tenders for the procurement of the CCTVs.

The officials were asked to draw in a plan about where to install these CCTVs. Earlier in the past, CCTVs installed were non-functional at many places. This is mainly due to the lack of proper maintenance. This time government is also planning to install the maintenance clause while calling the tenders itself.

The upcoming budget of Telangana is likely to have allocations for the procurement of the CCTVs. Hyderabad is always on the hit list of the Terrorist organizations. This new additional security features will increase the police vigil in the city. All the CCTVs will be coordinated from a centralized control room.
