KCR’s ‘Dakshina’ to Ramoji Rao

Gone are the day when KCR warned to plow Ramoji Film City with One Lakh plows, Ramoji Rao is a dearest friend to KCR and to such an extent Telangana government had decided to give 295 acres for the media baron’s Ramoji Film City expansion.

Revenue department came forward to give 376 acres as the land in hills can not be divided. If RFC is okay, the government will give away all the 376 acres. RFC management was asked to deposit 37.65 Crore which will be given as compensation to the farmers holding these lands.

This is the biggest land allotment around Hyderabad to any private project after Telangana state is formed. Opposition leaders say this is an example of brewing friendship between Ramoji Rao and KCR. They say this is KCR’s Dakshina to Ramoji for the help through Eenadu. But then hardcore Telangana supporters will not welcome this move.
