KCR Falling in BJP’s Trap?

Telangana Cab Drivers Association had announced an indefinite strike on the lines of TSRTC from the 19th of this month. This is demanding the increase of the fares to at least 22 Rupees per Kilometer and restricting the number of cabs attached to each aggregator so that every cab driver gets minimum business.

Surprisingly, Telangana Governor, Tamilisai Soundarajan called the JAC for a meeting to Raj Bhavan and prevented them from going on a strike. With RTC buses already not plying on roads, the Cabs strike would have been disastrous for Public Commuting. Governor’s intervention is being appreciated by one and all.

In complete contrast to the Governor’s Proactiveness, the Telangana Government is yet to initiate the talks with TSRTC JAC even though it has been more than a fortnight since they are agitating. The government is making things worse by announcing the sacking of around 48,660 employees.

BJP would portray this as their achievement while the ruling party has completely failed. It looks like KCR is falling in the trap of BJP by giving them the chance to please the people of Telangana.
