KCR Following Chandrababu Naidu Model?

Back in the 90s when IT is at a nascent stage in Hyderabad, then Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has come up with the construction of Cyber Towers. It has housed many companies and later paved way for Hyderabad to become one of the most popular IT destinations in the country.

It looks like KCR Government is planning a similar model to develop IT in the South of Hyderabad. The Government is planning the Urban Center of Excellence on the lines of Cyber Towers in Budvel, Rajendranagar Mandal. The government has allotted 165 acres of land to HMDA for the IT hub.

Of this, 57.15 acres have been allotted to various companies and 107.25 acres are currently available. More than 30 companies were already in talks with the government. The Urban Center of Excellence is coming on 45 acres with state-of-the-art infrastructure.

The Urban Center of Excellence will be the landmark of the IT Hub coming in Budvel on the lines of Cyber Towers in HITEC City.
