KCR Inviting Modi to Telangana Political Turf?

Telangana Assembly Secretary the other day has released a bulletin confirming the merger of Congress Legislative Party into TRS Legislative Party after Twelve of the 19 Congress MLAs met the Speaker and gave a letter to consider themselves as the TRS members as they form Two-Thirds of the total MLAs elected on Congress Ticket.

With 12 MLAs gone and one resigned (Uttam Kumar Reddy), Congress is left with only Six MLAs losing the Main Opposition Status. MIM is the Second Largest Party in the house with Seven MLAs. So, the friendly partner of TRS will be the Opposition Party in the house. This is something TRS has wanted.

But then, Political Experts opine that if TRS is trying to see MIM as de-facto opposition in the Assembly then that only amounts to giving a lifeline to BJP’s rise in Telangana. The Saffron Party has just stunned TRS by winning four seats in the recent Parliament Elections.

BJP Candidate has defeated KCR’s Daughter, Kavitha in Nizamabad. The downfall of Congress will only aide the growth of BJP in Telangana. All it needs a strong leader to lead it from the front.
