KCR Keen To Impress Modi First

Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up for a Special Assembly Session to ratify GST Bill from September 8th. Earlier the session was planned on 6th but was delayed by two days due to Ganesh Nimajjanam. Telangana Police also informed Andhra Pradesh government that they can not arrange security before 8th for the same reason.

On the other side, Telangana government is also planning a Special Session of Assembly to ratify GST Bill. We are told that KCR wants the session to happen before AP session and be first to ratify the important bill and impress Modi. But then, Telangana Assembly session also can not happen before 8th.

Assembly sessions of both the state starting on the same day can create security issues. We will have to see how the tussle is going to be solved. Andhra Pradesh government is planning to start the session with its own forces if needed but will not depend on Telangana Police who may try to postpone the session.
