Why KCR Postponed His Vijayawada Visit?

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao was supposed to visit the famous Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada during the Dussehra season to offer a gold nose ring to the deity. But then the visit is postponed now.

Telangana CMO informed Andhra Pradesh CMO about the visit. But then, AP CMO asked the Telangana Chief Minister to visit Vijayawada only after Dussehra Season since the temple will see heavy footfalls and there can be the issues of security.

The Telangana CM subsequently postponed his visit. Earlier this year, KCR visited Tirupati as well and offered Gold ornaments worth 5.59 Crore to the Lord on the behalf of Telangana government. These offerings are a part of KCR’s vows to the Lords during the Telangana Movement.
