KCR takes YSR’s route!

Late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Raja Sekhar Reddy had established his own media group, Sakshi to counter the corruption allegations of other media houses. Now Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao seem to be taking a similar route. It is decided that the government will be running a monthly magazine called Telangana which will act as the mouthpiece of KCR’s government.

The name is recently registered with the Newspaper Register Society. The monthly magazine is expected to be out from October. Only difference between KCR’s move and YSR’s move is that the later ran Sakshi out of his personal funds through his son, YS Jagan but KCR will be running Telangana magazine through government funds. We are yet to know if this magazine will be available to public for free or at subsidized rate at the expense of the state treasury.
