KCR to fulfill Naidu’s failed promise

Telugu Desam Party has promised Stipend to unemployed youth before coming to power. However it could not fulfilled till date due to the dire finances of the state. On the other side, many warn that such culture is not at all desirable as it would prompt laziness in youth. However KCR is giving a serious thought about this scheme.

The Telangana Chief Minister declared that his government is seriously considering the stipend proposal. Telangana State is already under severe pressure due to various new scheme despite being a revenue surplus state, this scheme if materialized will further stress the state finances.

If KCR takes up this scheme in Telangana, Naidu will be under severe pressure to take up the scheme in the truncated state. Already YSR Congress is raking the issue whenever possible but there is no public support. The public support may be garnered if Telangana implements this scheme.
