KCR to Throw Blame on to BJP for His Promise!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao promised 12% reservations to Muslims before the last elections. It is the most difficult promise of all those he made because Indian constitution do not allow reservations based on religions. Earlier courts have struck down attempts made in that direction.

KCR made that promise even after knowing it can not be adhered to. But now the Chief Minister is trying to throw the blame on BJP. The other day, he announced that the committee appointed for Muslim Reservations will submit its report very soon. And then immediately a special session of the state assembly will be convened and adopt a resolution.

The resolution will be sent to the center asking for amending the constitution. With that the ball will be in BJP’s court, if needed KCR will claim the credit for the Special Assembly session but will say it is a central issue, could not be carried out with out BJP’s help. BJP which is already seen as anti-Muslim will be in troubled waters with this.
