KCR Wants to Be Lucky Like YSR

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao reportedly told his party leaders to allow the growth of BJP in the state. He, however, asked them to keep a tab on Congress. “We will be benefitted from a three-way contest,” KCR said.

“BJP currently has 3% votes. If it increases by another 3%, anti-government votes will divide,” KCR added. KCR may be hopeful that the anti-government vote divides between Congress and BJP which will ensure that TRS wins.

This happened in 2009 elections. The anti-government vote was divided between Mahakutami and Praja Rajyam Party. That division helped Congress back then to win a second term. So, KCR wants to be lucky just like YSR in 2009 elections.
