KCR’s Assurance to Telugu Film Industry

Telugu film industry biggies have met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao a little while ago and narrated him the plight of the industry. They brought to his notice that 14,000 daily wagers and film workers have gone jobless due to the Lockdown and there is a pressing need to restart the industry.

Telangana Chief Minister has stated that film shootings and post-production works, which were stopped due to the lockdown, would be resumed in a phased manner. The CM has instructed the concerned officials to prepare guidelines to conduct film shootings in the state.

It has to be seen when that happens. After the meeting, Megastar Chiranjeevi took to Twitter and thanked the Chief Minister profusely. “I wholeheartedly thank Hon’ble CM #KCR garu on behalf of the Film, TV & Digital Media industries for granting a patient hearing & his kind reassurance,” he wrote on Twitter.
