KCR’s New Districts Ploy to Corner Revanth Reddy

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao seem to be doing every thing he can to trouble Fire brand TDP (TS) leader, Revanthe Reddy. According to the draft of new districts available with the government, Revanth Reddy’s Kodangal Constituency may be spread over two districts bringing administrative problems.

Two Mandals of Kodangal constituency may be added to the new Vikarabad district which is very far. The constituency spreading over two districts may bring problems for the people and will also trouble Revanth Reddy politically as he will have to influence officials of two districts for development works in his constituency.

This is an uphill task for an opposition MLA and particularly some one like Revanth Reddy. Earlier there used to be a rule that a constituency should not be spread over two or more districts but Telangana government is avoiding the rule in the creation of new districts.
