KCR’s sops to industrialists

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao is keen on attracting new investments in to the state by attracting industrialists. He held a meeting with FAPCI, FICCI and CII members on the new industrial policy of the state. The Chief Minister has announced a single window clearance system for permissions of industries at the Chief Minister’s Office. He promised to give any permission within 21 days and most of the permissions in a single day.

KCR also promised 24 hours power and 10% water facility to all the industries. He announced that water in all the projects up to 10% will be reserved for industrial use. He also stated that there is two and half lakh acres of land readily available for establishing industries in Telangana state. Government sources say the outcome of the meeting is very positive and they expect investments to flow in to the state very sooner.
