Khammam Contention Between TDP and Congress?

Khammam is the only district where Mahakutami showed its Might in the recent elections. It is the only district the votes transfer happened easily between Congress and TDP finally it reflected on the results. TRS just managed to win A Single Seat in the Erstwhile district. Congress won six, TDP two and an Independent, one in the district.

The only Independent candidate Ramulu Naik who was elected from Wyra already joined the TRS party. In the Mahakutami wave, TRS Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao also lost the election. Now, Khammam Lok Sabha seat has become a hot property. Earlier, the understanding was to give it to TDP but then, Congress Seniors are keen on contesting from here.

Renuka Chowdary already started lobbying with the Party High Command to get the seat while TDP is hellbent on having it. TDP does not want to let it go since both the seats it has won are from the district. TRS wants all the Sixteen Seats (One seat to MIM) in the upcoming Parliament Elections and has shifted its focus on to the district already.
