Police seized Rs 50,000 in cash and a cell phone from Vinod. Officials stated that the seized items were linked to betting activities.

During the investigation, police found that Vinod had allegedly run gambling places involving card games during the YSRCP term. Authorities also received inputs that such activities continued even after the Chandrababu government came to power.

Acting on specific information, Gudivada One Town police conducted the operation and arrested Vinod. The swift action followed surveillance and tip-offs.

Sources say important details have emerged during Vinod’s interrogation. His close association with Kodali Nani has added political significance to the case.
