Kodandaram Hints About New Political Party

Prof Kodandaram seems to have confirmed floating a new political party. In a meeting of Telangana JAC representatives of 31 districts, Kodandaram went on to say “We will think about floating a new party only when JAC is strengthened at the grassroots level”.

Kondandaram is fighting against the government alleging that the welfare programs which the government was claiming were a huge success were not reaching the intended beneficiaries. JAC is gung-ho over how he is being received by the people.

Even though TRS is not yielding in criticizing Kodandaram, it is not so easy for them given his role in Telangana Agitation. If at all Kodandaram starts a political party, it has to be seen if that consolidates the anti-government vote under one roof or divide it if he goes alone.
