Expectations for Drishyam: The Conclusion are rising as advance booking numbers are reported across various platforms. As of now, a big opening is expected at the box office, marking a strong comeback for Ajay Devgn after a long time.

Amid this, latest reports have revealed that the national multiplex chains, including PVR Inox and Cinepolis, have sold around 2,75,000 tickets and are expected to close with a sale of 3.25 lakh tickets. The numbers are even bigger compared to other blockbuster movies like Pathaan, Jawan, Gadar 2, and Animal in the MovieMax multiplex chain.

Early predictions have estimated that the film will easily collect Rs. 250-300 crores at the box office. Some stated that the figure is also possible during the first two weeks, considering the buzz that has been created before the film’s arrival at the big screen.

Amid this, trade experts have opened up about what could be the possible verdict for the film based on the numbers that it is supposed to record at the box office. According to them, a collection of Rs. 350 crores or more, reaching up to Rs. 450 crores, will make it a blockbuster or an all-time blockbuster or an all-time mega blockbuster.

In case the film collects more than Rs. 250 crores, it will become a hit. But the tag of super hit is possible with more than Rs. 300 crores. If the numbers are between Rs. 200-220 crores, Drishyam: The Conclusion will be called an average or above-average film.

However, if the figures are lower than Rs. 160 crores, it will be known as a below-average film. The film will emerge as a flop with Rs. 130 crores and a disaster with Rs. 100 crores.

While Drishyam 2 made Rs. 300 crores at the box office, questions are being raised about whether the upcoming sequel has the potential to collect Rs. 400-500 crores. The franchise value will undoubtedly boost the numbers. But the rest will depend on the entertainment value the film is going to provide, considering the fact that the story and screenplay are completely new.

As of now, all eyes are on both the film’s content and the box office numbers. Trade experts are expecting the year to end on a positive note, and Drishyam: The Conclusion might be the beginning of that phase.
