Kodi Kathi Case: NIA Gives Rude Shock To Jagan

The highly controversial Kodi Kathi case has been one of the most dragged out politically driven cases in Andhra Pradesh. The main victim YS Jagan hadn’t been recording his statement in the court but the suspect one Srinivasa Rao has been rotting in prison for the last 5 years or so.

Now, Jagan’s legal team had filed a motion to carry out the entire investigation of the case all over again. They alleged that the investigation wasn’t fair and square the first time around.

But the NIA court was quick to turn down the advancement and they struck it down in the latest hearing.

“The investigation went on for several years and it was concluded that there is no political motive behind the incident. There is no reason to carry out the investigation all over again. It went on in the righteous manner the first time itself” the NIA court stated.

With this, Jagan’s plea to carry out the entirety of Kodi Kathi investigation all over again right from scratch goes for a toss. The court has turned down the advancement right in the early stages.
