Krishna and Guntur Ministers Having Sleepless Nights

Andhra Pradesh Government is keen on conducting all the local elections by the end of this month. If that does not happen, the 14th Finance Commission funds around 5000 Crore will be lost forever. Meanwhile, the Ruling Party is keen to register another thumping victory in these elections.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy already warned the Ministers saying that they would have to resign themselves if the results are not to the tune of 151 MLAs and 22 MPs they got in the recent elections. This warning will definitely put the Ministers on their toes.

Ministers from Krishna and Guntur districts are having sleepless nights over this warning. They are worrying if they can get similar results after deciding to shift the Capital out of Amaravati. Until now, they tried to belittle the issue as the Problem of 29 Villages.

Calling farmers as Paid Artists, Real Estate agents etc did not augur well to the image of the Ruling Party here. At this juncture, they are worried about the results from these two districts. If there are adverse results, their Ministerships will go away in less than an year.
