Rains Threaten to Dent Naidu’s Image?

The upcoming Krishna Pushkaralu threatens to damage Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu’s image. The arrangements to accommodate the biggest event are going on at slow pace, even as the officials are working in two shifts. They say the rains lashing the district are hampering the works.

Last year Godavari pushkaralu brought disgrace to the government due to the stampede that occurred on the day one. The Durga Gudi flyover works are unlikely to complete and it was finalized that it will not be possible to complete the six-lane road over the bridge right away. The government wants officials at least to complete four lane road by this month end.

But the rains are threatening to hamper the schedules. The officials are worried about traffic snarls the city is likely to witness in view of the rush of devotees expected on the auspicious occasion. If that happens that will dent Chandrababu Naidu’s image big time. The Chief Minister will personally monitor the works once he is back from Russia tour.
