BRS working president KTR has launched a strong attack on CM Revanth Reddy during a recent press meet. This comes just days after the Telangana government decided to convert industrial zone lands across Hyderabad into mixed use, commercial and residential properties.
KTR claimed that people of Hyderabad must understand the scale of this alleged scam. He said several industrial areas such as Azamabad, Balanagar, Kukatpally, Jeedimetla, Nacharam and Mallapur fall within the ORR limits and hold massive land value.
According to KTR, land in these areas costs around 40 to 50 crore per acre. He added that each yard is valued between Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh. He stated that these industrial zones cover nearly 9300 acres within city limits.
KTR alleged that the total value of this land adds up to Rs 40 lakh crores to Rs 50 lakh crores. He accused CM Revanth Reddy of handing over these land pockets to his followers, associates, brokers and relatives. He said the Cabinet meeting exposed what he called the biggest scam in the state.
