KTR: MLAs Lack Guts To Accept Defection

BRS working president KTR has thrown a direct challenge to the Telangana Chief Minister over alleged defections of MLAs to the Congress.

KTR questioned whether the Chief Minister has the courage to conduct by elections in the ten constituencies. He said that if 66 percent of people are truly with the government, it should be ready for by polls.

Raising his voice, KTR asked if the Speaker was not hearing what was happening. He made these remarks while felicitating newly appointed sarpanches at the BRS district office in Siricilla.

Speaking at the event, KTR referred to Kadiyam Srihari. He said Srihari openly stated which side he was on and questioned whether the Speaker failed to notice it.

KTR also targeted former minister Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy. He alleged that the MLAs lied before the Speaker and questioned whether the Speaker would also lie.

Using sarcasm, KTR said he felt pity for both the Speaker and the MLAs involved. He expressed serious doubts over the handling of the defection issue.

KTR went on to mock the defecting MLAs, saying it was unclear whether they were men or women. He said they lacked the courage to clearly state which party they belonged to.

Accusing them of clinging to power, KTR compared the MLAs to bats hanging from a roof. He alleged that they were behaving this way only for positions and personal gain.
