KTR addresses meeting in Telangana

BRS working president KTR said that the people of Telangana are hoping to see KCR return to power. He made these remarks while addressing a meeting in Yadadri Bhuvanagir district.

KTR stated that BRS has regained public support within just a couple of years after losing power. He highlighted this as a significant political development for the party.

He pointed out that BRS won all 151 sarpanch seats in Bhuvanagir. Addressing the audience, KTR said it is tougher to win as a sarpanch than as an MP, drawing loud applause.

The recently concluded sarpanch elections were held across 12,727 villages. In these elections, the ruling Congress secured 6794 seats.

BRS won 3503 gram panchayat seats in total. The BJP emerged victorious in 697 villages, while independents won in 1651 seats.

Although Congress secured a majority, BRS leaders expressed satisfaction with their performance. They believe the results show strong grassroots support.

Party leaders also claimed that people at the village level are waiting for KCR to make a political comeback in Telangana.
