KTR: Searching Reasons, Ignoring Mistakes

BRS lost its first election after the state formation. BRS was not expecting this and so it came as a big shock.

Electoral defeats are imminent for any political party. No party can sit in power always. When an election is lost, it is important that the party will sit and analysis what went wrong.

BRS should also do the same. But then, there are doubts over BRS’s post-defeat analysis.

“Lots of Interesting feedback & observations I’ve been getting post-election results. The best one thus far; Instead of setting up 32 Govt Medical Colleges, KCR Garu should’ve set up 32 YouTube channels to counter the fake propaganda. Agree with this observation to an extent,” KTR tweeted this morning.

In the age of Digital, Social Media and YouTube Strategies are also important but elections are not decided by them.

Every political party is into social media these days to elevate themselves and undermine others. BRS and Congress did that as well in recent elections. But always the Opposition parties will have more scope.

As a Telugu saying goes – “Karnudi Chaavuki Sava Laksha Karanalu”. It may be one of the reasons for the BRS defeat.

But KTR calling it the Best one should be a matter of concern.

Social Media and YouTube can not decide a victory or defeat. They can play a part to some extent but they can not be a deciding factor.

These Social Media, and YouTube reasons are the reasons that need to be given by Social Media Warriors but not a leader of KTR’s stature.

Also, this is an insult to the intellect of the voters to say so.

If KTR believes there is nothing wrong with their rule and the defeat is only because of Propaganda, they may be in serious trouble for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
