KTR’s Secret G.O. To Benefit Naidu’s Trust?

Telangana Government has issued a Secret Order exempting Swarna Bharathi Trust, a social service organization run by the daughter of Venkaiah Naidu from paying various charges to Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) amounting to over 2 crores.

The G.O. was issued by the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department which comes under the ministry headed by Chief Minister KCR’s son, KTR on June 20, but was not made public on the State government’s website, for reasons best known to the government.

Venkaiah Naidu’s daughter, Deepa Venkat has made the request to the government in March seeking a waiver of development charges for building in an extent of 36,143.5 square meters at Muchintal village of Shamshabad district. No NGO in the past was granted such exemption.
