KTR Takes Away Project Brought By Chandrababu

The other day, we have published a piece of news about Triton EV, a US-based Electric vehicles manufacturing company pledging a big investment of 2,100 Crore at the National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) at Zaheerabad, Sangareddy. The company is expected to create 25,000 jobs.

The first five years will have Triton producing over 50,000 vehicles including sedans, luxury SUVs, e-rickshaws, semi-trucks, and other elective vehicles. Interestingly, Telugu Desam Party has revealed documentary evidence saying that the company made an MOU with AP Government during Chandrababu’s regime.

The manufacturing plant was supposed to establish in Vishakapatnam or Chittoor, as per the plan back then. “Once the government is changed, it is not pursued. Also, the company is skeptical about investing in Andhra Pradesh due to the new government’s non-friendly attitude with the investors,” TDP alleged.

Anyways, it looks like Andhra Pradesh’s loss in Telangana’s gain. At least the project did not go to some other state!
