
It may soon be possible for you to own a Lamborghini home or a BMW villa in Hyderabad. Luxury car brands Lamborghini, BMW and Mercedes Benz are preparing to enter the Indian real estate market in 2026. Discussions with local developers are already underway.
The brands are in talks to build premium homes in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurugram and Bengaluru. India currently ranks sixth globally in branded residences. This growing demand has made Indian cities attractive for global luxury players.
Lamborghini has already taken initial steps by holding talks with realty firms in Mumbai and Chennai. BMW has also shown strong interest in the Indian market. However, it is still unclear whether BMW will enter directly or act as a realty consultancy.
Interest in branded homes is not limited to automobile companies. Fashion, wellness and European designer brands are also exploring opportunities in both developed and emerging Indian cities. Several global brands are in discussions to launch branded residential projects.
Local realtors are actively partnering with global brands to improve facilities and construction quality. As a result, cities like Hyderabad are joining markets such as Thailand, Vietnam, UAE and the USA in attracting branded housing projects.
According to Savill’s 2025-26 report, demand for branded properties rose by 55 percent in the past five years across South East Asia. Economic growth in Thailand, Vietnam and India has driven this trend.
Indian conglomerate Tata Group has also entered the branded housing segment with a project in Chennai. India already hosts brands like Armani Casa, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Marriott, Versace Home, Trump Family, Hyatt, Pullman, ITC and Hilton in real estate.
Demand is not limited to Tier 1 cities such as Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Tier 2 cities like Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Goa and Surat are also seeing strong interest. Soon, you may drive straight into your own branded villa.
