Lokesh Should Not Give A Chance To Point Fingers!

Nara Lokesh is all set to blow the conch for TDP’s campaign for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections by resuming his Yuvagalam Padayatra starting from tomorrow. The Padayatra was paused in September after Chandrababu Naidu was arrested.

Lokesh kept himself busy exploring all legal options to bring Chandrababu out. After he is granted Regular Bail by the Andhra Pradesh High Court, the Nara scion is hitting the ground once again.

Lokesh has so far walked 2,852 kilometres covering 84 assembly constituencies in nine combined districts in 208 days.

The walkathon will resume in Podalada, Razole constituency where it was halted previously.

Lokesh will cover eight assembly constituencies in the combined East Godavari district before entering combined Visakhapatnam.

There is no official announcement in the media but there is news in some media that Lokesh will end his Padayatra in December itself in Vishakapatnam.

The original idea was to walk to Ichhapuram of Srikakulam. But since more than two and half months have gone to waste, Lokesh may have been planning to end the padayatra in Vizag.

Even though the concern of elections approaching is understandable, not completing the Padayatra until Ichhapuram will be a bad optic.

Doing the Padayatra for less than a month will send a wrong signal to the public that he finished it as a formality.

Already YSR Congress twisted this break to their benefit saying that Lokesh stopped his Padayatra fearing arrest.

If the Padayatra is curtailed, they will again unleash a malicious campaign. Lokesh worked really hard against all odds and proved everyone wrong in this Padayatra. He should give it a proper ending so that there is no chance of anyone pointing fingers.

If and when Lokesh completes the 4,000-kilometer Padayatra, he will have the record of the biggest Padyatra in the history of Andhra Pradesh.
