Low Ticket Prices Fine, How About Cheap Cement?

Andhra Pradesh Minister Anil Kumar Yadav has targeted Janasena President Pawan Kalyan on the Ticket Prices issue. He alleged that high remunerations of the stars are the reason for the issue and they should lower it to address the issue.

“Why does Pawan Kalyan need 50 Crore per film? If he charges 10 Crore, everyone can be happy and profitable. 80% of a film expense is going only into the pockets of four people. Why would give permission to exploit people for the benefit of four? Fans should not waste their money,” the minister advised.

It looks like the Government is trying to deviate people from the real issue claiming it to be for their good. The government prescribed rates mean the existence of theaters is doubtful. Theaters in Panchayats will not even recover their power charges at those rates. Meanwhile, social media is hitting the YSR Congress on the issue.

They are saying that the common man needs affordable cement to construct a house than an entertainment option like Cinema. “If the Government cares so much for the entertainment of a common man, It should be even considerate of the housing right of the poor and should decrease Bharati cement rate to 50 Rupees per bag,” they mock.
