Madhapur: B Tech Students Arrested For Selling Drugs

Recently, Telangana police carried out multiple drug busts in Hyderabad, which also resulted in the arrest of several prominent celebrities.

In the latest drug bust, the Special Operation Team (SOT) police arrested two B.Tech students involved in drug peddling.

Guthula Syambabu and Katuri Surya Kumar, both hailing from Rajamahendravaram in Andhra Pradesh, were taken into custody. The police seized 28 grams of MDMA drugs worth Rs.4.2 lakhs and two cell phones from them.

According to reports, the arrested individuals were buying drugs from a peddler named Solomon in Bengaluru and selling them at higher prices to college students in Rajamahendravaram.

The police revealed that both suspects are the sons of central government employees. They had moved to Bengaluru for their education but ended up involved in the drug business.

The SOT police handed over the suspects to the Madhapur Police, who have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter.
