Mahesh Is Like My Son, But Not Now

You might be one of those who came across the strong buzz that Mahesh Babu was roped in to play a crucial role in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming movie ‘Acharya’ with director Koratala Siva.

Then, came out another buzz that Mahesh Babu backed out from the movie and Ram Charan would be coming into the scene to play the crucial role. When Chiru was asked to clarify, he didn’t give clarity if they had actually approached Mahesh Babu.

However, he said that their son Ram Charan was his and wife Surekha’s first preference for the role. “Mahesh is like my son, but with regarding the role, Charan was mine and my wife’s first preference from the beginning,” says Chiranjeevi.

Chiranjeevi is hoping Rajamouli would make space for Ram Charan to act in ‘Acharya‘. Rajamouli heroes dedicate their full time to his film and only after the completion, they move on to another project.
