Major Shock to TDP Senior Minister

TDP Senior Leader from Nellore and Agriculture Minister, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy is in for a big shock after his brother, Somireddy Sudhakar Reddy joined YSR Congress this morning in the Presence of YSR Congress MLA, Kakani Govardhan Reddy. In the presence of Sudhakar, Kakani made corruption allegations on the Minister.

Interestingly, only a few days ago, Somireddy’s Brother-in-law, Rama Kota Reddy also joined the YSR Congress. Somireddy who is an MLC in Governor Quota recently resigned so that he can contest as Sarvepalli MLA. Somireddy has been facing defeat in Sarvepalli Constituency since 2004 elections.

He is keen to win in this election at any cost. Somireddy previously won from the same seat in 1994 and 1999 elections. In 2004 elections, Somireddy lost by 7000 votes. In 2009, 10000 votes and in the recent 2014 elections by just 5000 Votes. This time, Sympathy factor is also expected to help Somireddy.
