Malla Reddy, the man behind the Malla Reddy Group of Institutions, made an interesting statement to the media on the occasion of Rakhi. The 72-year-old politician said that at this stage in life, he had no interest in changing parties or continuing in politics. He mentioned that he was not looking at either the BJP or the Congress and added that he had seen everything in political life.
The founder of Mallareddy Health City served as the MP of Malkajgiri from 2019 to 2023 and was also elected as an MLA from Medchal. During the time when BRS was in power, Malla Reddy held the position of labour minister. Having served as an MLA, MP and minister, he said he is now content with continuing as a BRS MLA for the next three years.
He made it clear that the time to step away from politics has arrived. His focus now is on spreading education through his colleges and university. Speaking to the media, he said he wishes to spend the rest of his life dedicated to the cause of education.
