Man who Stayed Indoors Tested Corona +Ve

Researchers across the globe say that Staying Home is the only way to flatten the Coronavirus curve. So several countries across the globe have announced Lockdown. As many as half of the World’s Population is confined to indoors but here is a disappointment.

A 65-year-old man who has been confined to his flat since the Lockdown started is tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. The authorities could not identify the source of infection. His wife had not shown any symptoms but she had visited the common area of the society multiple times.

If his wife tests negative, it will be another challenge posed by the virus and will be a huge concern to everyone in isolation. There are some other chances like – He may have contracted the virus from packages that came to their house. Or the wife passing the virus to husband while her own immune system was able to fight the virus.

The Coronavirus cases across the country are inching towards the 25,000 mark. Mumbai, Delhi, and Gujarat – the three states alone contribute more than 50% of the total cases in the country.
