Deadly Affair: Acid Attack on Partner

Of late, we are seeing an increased number of crime cases pertaining to extra marital affairs and live in relationships. Here’s one such instance that happened in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

Venkatesh, a native of Nallapadu, Guntur makes a living of delivering water cans to nearby areas. In the process, he developed a relationship with Radha, a widowed women who makes a living by doing chores in the surrounding houses.

The two of them have been living together in the same house for the last three months. Venkatesh’s family members didn’t like this and they sent away Radha. She then filed a police case that Venkatesh and his family member attacked her.

Radha grew grudge on Venkatesh, and she later plotted against him. She then commissioned three men and went to Venkatesh who was delivering water cans in the surroundings.

All of sudden, Radha poured acid that she bought with herself on Venkatesh’s body. He started screaming out of pain and was later shifted to Government Hospital.

He is understood to have sustained severe burns to his body and he’s currently getting treated. This relationship which started off as a live-in, has now taken a violent turn.
