Media Watch: CBN Corners TV9 And NTV

Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu usually is a man who goes by the rule book. He often distances himself from making controversial statements and vendetta politics. But this is a different age altogether.

Naidu was troubled and his party leaders were witch-hunted after Jagan came into power. After the line is crossed, we now see someone like Naidu getting aggressive. The other day, he warned Blue Media and TV9 in particular.

Speaking to a TV9 reporter, Naidu said, “Do you follow Press ethical values? That’s why we call you Blue Media. Blue media has no sense. I will teach you a lesson when the time comes. I will show it to TV9 and NTV as well. I will show your place,” Chandrababu warned directly.

This is the first time Naidu was seen as so aggressive and that too about media.

In BARC Ratings, Sakshi is continuously on a downslide indicating the public’s mood. It was exactly the opposite before the 2019 elections. But then, NTV and TV9 which are in the Top two positions are doing the work for YSR Congress.

Forget about support, they have become the mouthpieces of the YSR Congress.

These channels are continuously peddling Pro-YSR Congress agenda-driven news and helping the Ruling Party.

The former Chief Minister exposing these channels will hit their credibility and will also remove their mask of neutrality. It has to be seen if they will mend their ways after this warning.
