KH×RK: A Feel-Good Homage for Rajini and Kamal?

KH×RK Shooting Update on Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth

Ever since the announcement glimpse of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth‘s reunion project, tentatively titled KH×RK under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar was dropped, Kollywood audiences have been curiously awaiting updates regarding the project with massive expectations.

Even though there had not been any updates or buzz about KH×RK on social media until the release of Jailer 2, once Jailer 2 emerged as a massive success and Nelson Dilipkumar proved his potential, all eyes turned to the KH×RK project and a lot of speculation about it has been circulating on social media.

While a few days ago there was strong speculation that the shooting for KH×RK was going to begin in December, it now seems like the project is not starting in December, as Nelson Dilipkumar requires some extra time for the film’s pre-production work.

According to fresh reports, the shooting of KH×RK will only begin after Rajinikanth’s Dharman and Kamal Haasan’s project with SU Arun Kumar are released. Furthermore, there is also information that Nelson Dilipkumar is planning to make KH×RK a feel-good commercial entertainer that pays a proper homage to both star actors.

In response to these recent speculations, many people suggest that the makers of KH×RK should not rush Nelson Dilipkumar to start the project immediately and should instead give him the required time. They point to the massive success of Jailer 2 and note that Nelson Dilipkumar took almost 1.5 years to complete the script work for that film.

Therefore, they feel that since the KH×RK project is one of the most anticipated projects in Kollywood, Nelson Dilipkumar should take enough time to shape the script for the film. Furthermore, they are asking the director to deliver the best film for the Superstars, irrespective of genre.

Ultimately, day by day, the expectations for the KH×RK project are rising among audiences and it remains to be seen how KH×RK is going to take shape and whether it emerges as a massive success upon its release.
