Meticulous Planning Ensures Smooth Ganesh Nimajjanam

The festive atmosphere is seen all around Hyderabad as People bid farewell to Lord Ganesha on the 11th day of Ganesh Utsavalu with the shouts of ‘Ganapathi Bappa Moriya’. Telangana Police has come up meticulous planning to ensure the immersion is complete peacefully and quickly.

Breaking the ages old tradition, they have decided to immerse the famous Khairthabad Ganesh before noon of Thursday. Usually, the immersion used to be held in the midnight creating traffic snarls. But this year, the other idols are being allowed to Hussain Sagar only after Khairthabad Ganesh immersion is complete.

Earlier, the immersion used to take Two and Half days but now is expected to complete in a day. On the other side, Balapur Ganesh laddu, which is known for bestowing prosperity for the successful bidder, was auctioned for a whopping 14.65 Lakhs. The successful bidder Skylab Reddy bettered the last year record of 10.3 Lakhs to win the Laddu.
