Amid the fears of such allowance making youth lazy, the state government decided to go about it considering political implications. What is worse is that the minimum age needed for the allowance is just 18 years and those completed Intermediate are eligible.

The allowance reportedly will be 1500 per month. White Ration Card is must and only one from a family is eligible. According to government estimates, there are 8-10 Lakhs of such people. They will be volunteering for the government in return for the allowance.

The government is also planning Skill Development centers for them and the complete expenditure will be met by the state exchequer. While Chandrababu is busy with such a scheme, Opposition Leader Jagan Mohan Reddy says he will give Old age pension for 45 years only. In the name of populism, leaders are making the people lazy.
