Mission 25: KCR To Contest From Hyderabad?

We are less than one year to go for the elections and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is already in Poll Mood. KCR is dolling out freebies to various sections of the society and now the focus is on Hyderabad.

The State Government has started several Infrastructure works in Hyderabad to please the people here ahead of the elections. If the buzz in the Political circles is to be believed, KCR himself or someone from the family will contest from the seat.

Telangana Rashtra Samiti is targeting 25 seats in and around Hyderabad. This is cover up any loss in the Rural Telangana if any. This year monsoon is also not looking favourable and so, TRS has shifted focus on to Urban areas.

TRS is very weak in the city. In 2014 elections, the party just managed three seats here. But it has registered a sensational victory in the GHMC elections by winning 99 divisions out of the total 150 divisions. Since then, TRS has pinned high hopes on the area.
