JanaSena chief Pawan Kalyan is moving in a calculated manner with regard to the TDP-JSP alliance. He is aware of the fact that rumbling with TDP for higher number of MLA seats in the alliance just for the sake of it is injurious.
The latest update is that Pawan Kalyan has reviewed the reports pertaining to nearly 20 constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. This is the kind of ballpark that JSP should realistically have its sights on in the coming election.
Pawan has already made it clear to his party candidates that only those who can poll not less than 10,000 – 15,000 votes should expect MLA tickets. This implies that he is aware that leaving the lion’s share of the tickets to the fundamentally strong TDP is the way forward.
Now in accordance, Pawan has reviewed only 20 constituencies in segments like Guntur, Godavari districts, Krishna, and Chittoor. This is the kind of number that TDP can comfortably accommodate JSP in. It is good that Pawan has set the right ballpark. He is walking the talk that he wants the alliance as an entity to move forward rather than JSP as an individual.
Meanwhile, as for TDP, the party supremo Chandrababu Naidu has met with political strategist Prashant Kishor today. He is likely to bring in Prashant as the political strategist for TDP-JSP alliance. But nothing is for certain for now though.
