Modi Fails to Assure KCR?

Few media reports are suggesting Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is disappointed about the outcome of his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime agenda of the meeting is to push the center for early division of the high court. But then TRS sources say the Prime Minister did not give any concrete assurance.

The Chief Minister reportedly said TRS leaders Modi was keen on other issues and just ended high court division topic with a simple nod. There is also no concrete assurance about helping Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhageeradha even though Niti Aayog has promised funds to those ambitious schemes.

On the other side, the Chief Minister invited PM Modi for the inauguration of Mission Bhageeradha on August 7th in Gajwel. Modi is yet to visit Telangana after the last elections. We will have to see if that becomes Modi’s first visit to the newest state of the country.
