Naidu gets a ‘BIG’ word in Delhi!

Ever since Chandrababu has assumed powers to lead AP, Special category status tops his wish list whenever he visits Delhi. The Congress govt had guaranteed to accord Special status to AP for five years to offset the losses state could suffer due to the bifurcation and Modi too promised the same during the election campaign.

Center has finally come to a conclusion on this and a decision in favor of AP likely to be announced in exactly 2 weeks from now. After Naidu met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, he held a meeting with AP’s Special Re K. Ram Mohan Rao on Friday and assured to complete the process soon as he was was awaiting the file from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Arun Jaitley also indicated that Special status to AP would be on the lines of Uttarakhand. Naidu will be visiting Japan during the last week of November to attract investments to AP and according to the available information Center would approve it before his trip.
