Naidu keen on relocating reluctant employees

Andhra Pradesh government is keen on clearing the decks for the shifting of employees from the common capital Hyderabad to upcoming capital of the state. While government is already working on the infrastructural facilities, it is also keen to address the Local Status issue that may arise due to the shifting.

Employees who will shift to Andhra Pradesh will become non local to the area of their posting according to article 371D. The government is planning to appoint a cabinet sub committee in couple of day to amend article 371D. They are now planning to amend it in a way that employees and their dependents who shifts to the capital will be local to all the thirteen districts of Andhra Pradesh.

The report is to be submitted by April 15th. Sources also inform that government is still undecided about the Temporary capital idea considering all these issues related to employees and their reluctance to relocate immediately.
