Nara Bhuvaneswari who is touring Chandrababu’s Kuppam triggered a Political storm with a single comment. Speaking to women in the constituency, she made a comment about contesting Kuppam.
“I am going to tell you a joke. Chandrababu Naidu Garu has been your MLA for the last thirty five years. Seeing your enthusiasm, these days I want to give him rest and contest in Kuppam,” Bhuvaneswari said.
This comment triggered a storm even though Bhuvaneswari specifically mentioned that it is a joke. Blue Media started programs saying how Chandrababu is escaping to some other constituency fearing defeat in Kuppam.
Some people say the TDP High Command has tested waters by giving the feeler in the name of a joke to gauge the public reaction.
If that is really a strategy by TDP, they got the timing horribly wrong.
The entire media space was supposed to be occupied by the news of Rajya Sabha MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy resigning to YSR Congress which should be a big blow to the Ruling Party in Nellore district.
